"Fun"draising
Facts
 Last
year, our Frey Foundation fund raiser was the “Boosterthon Fun
Run”. Not only did
this event raise enough funds to pay for a technology teacher
for the upcoming school year, it was both educational and
motivational!
While
the Boosterthon Fun Run involved every child, regardless of
financial participation, over 75% of our students participated
financially in the program.
Pledges
were received from all 50 states!
The
majority of classrooms received pledges from at least 10 or more
different states or countries!
As
a whole, the students averaged 34 laps a piece - that’s about 2
miles!
A
total of 19, 727 laps were run by Frey students - that’s more
than 1000 miles!
This
event proved to be a fantastic team building experience for our
children. In
addition, it focused on great character traits, the importance
of having a positive attitude and being the best you can be!
